| Posts: 58 | Looking for a good all purpose rod that’s good for “lighter” musky lures (3/4-3 oz). Thanks! | ||

| Posts: 1040 | Bulldog Pro Series, 8.5 footer. X-Heavy. Great all around rod at a great price. Jeff Hanson (Madison) has been known to have a few laying around if you talk nicely to him. Might want to hit him up on here. | ||

| Posts: 54 | I have the Cabela's Musky Hunter 2-piece in both 7'9" spinning and 8' casting models and a St Croix Triumph 7'6" 1piece. All three will handle 3/4 to 4oz. lures. I feel that these are good rods regardless of what others may say. Not everyone can afford multi hundred fishing outfits. davemp | ||

| Posts: 93 | Not sure of the length you are looking for but I have an Elk River 9' ERX med heavy Musky rod and love it. I have 8 or 9 St Croix rods and would not complain about one but I find myself with the Elk River in my hand most of the time. | ||

| Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | Elk river makes some nice custom rods for sure. So does Yogi Custom Rods... Yogi also has some of our new PRO blanks.
