I would say 95% musky this year. I have been obsessed. I even got the wife out a couple of times instead of bass fishing. I put the bass rods away and haven't touched them since June. Now that the season is over in Wis, I will be seeking the browns and rainbows in the big pond, and walleye on the rivers.
Good lungen,

This is the first time in 3 years I have dusted off my walleye/bass gear during the Wis. Musky season., I did that only so I wouldnt be bored to death listening to Duck ratchet-jawing the whole time while judging the PMTT Championship on Cass.

I live north of hwy 10, so I used to fish walleyes in May, then switch gears Memorial weekend. I havent even done that the last 2 seasons.
Heck 2 springs ago, I went south of 10, just to ski fish.

I got IT baaaaaaaaad.

100% HARDCORE MUSKY NUT!!!

I fish Lake Trout usually a couple days before the ice is completely out for about a month then I take it easy for a while waiting for the muskie season to open then I fish Muskies after that probably about 95 % of them time with a few smallmouth trips thrown in somewhere throughout the season.

winter and spring find me tangling with river steelhead. First ice out has me battling mr pike. From the first saturday in June until bow season I can't think of anything else other than Muskies. I'll do a couple of salmon trips in the fall because the grill and smoker get lonely. Gotta get a few buckets full of perch thru the ice of course. The poor bass, I hope they don't feel too neglected. October 1st of course I'm swinging in a tree with a stick and a string. I did get out 3 times Musky chasing this fall after bow season started!

I spend most every day on the water in the summer and fall. Out of all the days im on the water, the only time im not fishing muskies is when gideing walleyes or bass. 85% musky - 15% walleye/bass.
I can only stand to fish for bait so long. He He He
