Well after a pretty good season, it is time to face the music. Its over, done, complete, finished! Sad to admit, and as stubborn as I can be sometimes, this is really hard for me to hang up the rods and face another winter. After spending a bone chilling morning with my good friend Habeeb on Sat, and after the weather service forecast a high of 57° on Sat, which never happened, its time to hang it up.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!!!!

Tough day on the Bowl, eh MRG? Skunked on the Fox Chain? No way!! How can this be?!

Vman and I fished from 6 to 2 yesterday. The wind blew our arses all over the lake, and it rained intermittently all day. Conditions appeared ideal for a good fishing day (new moon and all)... but the fish had other plans. They didn't show up to our little party. Not even a rip on the meat. Not sure if I'll be out on the Chain again this year or not. Guess maybe the warmer weather wasn't such a good thing. Bring on the cold... or better yet, an early Spring!

Just put the boat way and I'm depressed! I went to Thornes for 3 hours afterwards to try to boost my spirits. I actually walked out w/o making a purchase! That's NEVER happend before.

Mike, I'm not surprised you called it quits early - looked like you were wearing one of Mr. Rogers' cardigans...57 degrees my arse.

JT stuck a plump 37" vertically jigging a Bull Dawg, and that was it. Did not hear of anyone else having any luck.

Mike, I have a waiting fork...;-)

Not me, if the launches are not froze in two weekends, I'm fishing.
