Location: Moorhead, MN | Hey Guys,
I was just curious how do you guys work the Bulldawg. I bought one
for my Leech Lake outing last summer and I wasn't exactly sure how to
use it. Do you twitch your rod like your working a suick of burt. Or
do you just reel it in straight. Because the Bulldawg looks like an
awesome lure in the water. I would like some advice on the Bulldawg. |

Location: Illinois-Indiana | Jackpot,
I usually like to use a rod and reel, SORRY, I COULDN'T RESIST:)
I don't think there is a right or wrong way to fish the dawg.
I've caught MANY fish just straight reeling it to the boat, last weekend I was doing everything under the sun with it and couldn't muster a follow.
I was jerking it, popping it, straight reeling, reel and pause reel and pause, you name it I did it.
I think yo have to experiment with your retrieve, the current water temps and the Muskies mood will dictate what to do. With the colder temps I like to work it SLOWER than usual giving it a more erratic action like a dying bait fish.
