I just wanted to inform all of you about a great service in the chicagoland are. The place is Battery Services Corp in Bensenville. They sell the best marine batteries in Trojan Batteries. I have been using the Trojans for over a year now on the TM side. Well I needed a new starting batt and called them. I ordered a Trojan starting batt (24SM-1000). This battery has 825 CCA @ 0 degrees and 1000 MCA's at 32 degrees. This battery cost me 51.95 delivered next day to my house. Total with tax was $55, no charge for shipping and no charge to haul away my dead battery. If you are looking for new batts, give these a try. I am in no way associated with Trojan Batts or Battery Services, just in awe at the service and the product.

Are the tm batteries you are using the same reserve capacity as the previous ones you were using? I went to the link you provided and Trojan has lots of sizes and reserve capacities. What reserve capacity are you guys using for a 24v autopilot setup. I was looking at using 205 res minimum and see what a larger res. would cost and fit into my boat.

Are you using the lead-acid or the gel batteries?

I am running the scs225's on a 24v autopilot. They are great! They are the lead acid batts.
