 | Unless your looking for something unique the favorite producers will be your standards silver black, orange black, chartreuse black, copper red, copper copper, gold green.  Try a white copper a white brown or a gold brown.  You can always look at what is made commercially and their custom colors for ideas. |

 | black/gold is my absolute favorite. i like fluted indianas. the bucher 'texas tea' is my go to. 
 copper/red is second. bucher 'goldielocks'

 | White Chartreuse is good as well as yellow gold for tannic colored water. In clear water ; cant beat white on white.

 Actually you could apply that to any lure category.  The only reason I don't have a monochromatic arsenal, is that I like pretty colors.
