Being an older guy, Im not too techy. Is there any advantage to a Zero Lines card and make my own maps or just go with a LakeMaster?

Some lakemaster maps are not as detailed on certain lakes as others. Its up to you and where you fish

I was using Lakemaster maps for the WI/MI waters that I fish, and found them to be somewhat close to accurate. Once I checked out the Autochart Live feature on my Helix, found that the Lakemasters were missing quite a bit of structure in some lakes. I'll be making maps with a Zero Lines card this season. I think it would make sense to start with the Lakemaster to get you going on more bodies of water, and then get a Zero Lines to fine tune your approach. Your call though. Good luck.

Run both. I use zero lines on lower detail waters and for building out lakes in WI or SD where I don't have LM chips yet
