Posts: 3926 | The BPS flyer I received in the mail yesterday has an All Star 7'6" heavy action bait casting rod for $49.99. I thought I would mention it, could be a nice X-mas gift for your kid. 1-800-227-7776.

| ok i did a little research on this rod, and just to relay a few things to you guys interested in these rods, they are not availible at the bass pro retail store in gurnee ill. they are only availible threw the catalog or internet. one note on the rod is that it has a retractable butt, ive never owned a rod of this type, does anyone have any input on them, good bad or not??? also they will tack on an extra $5 bucks in addition to the regular shipping because of the size, the rod shows to retail for $99.99 | |||

Posts: 47 Location: The Land of Lincoln | Ranger or anyone: It sounds like a flipping stick (which I need) but can someone please provide more info on this rod like model # and or series? My wife "accidentally" threw away my copy of the flier before I could "study" it. mclarkin777 Edited by mclarkin777 11/16/2003 8:29 AM

Location: Hayward WI | I ordered mine on sat. It's backordered and will take 2-3 weeks to arrive. My bass, yes bass fishing partner has one, and it's sold as a flippin' stick for bass, but could be used for small cranks or jig/reaper fishing for muskies. Not a bad deal at $50 off.
