I heard that there is a 7'2" Avid coming out. Anybody know? I have the Premier but I also have some found money looking for a good home and this seems like a good spot for it.

Nope no 7'2" avid in the new catalog. The new avid this year is the 8'.

7'6" AVID Heavy is available for 2004 also isn't it??
I hope so, got my hands on one for a few casts, pretty sweet!!!

Greg, the 7'6" avid came out for the 2003 season and yes it is a great rod.

I have both the 7'6" and the 8' Avid heavy and love them, great rod.
The 8' is great for throwing big cranks and mag dawgs.
