Headed to Webster for a rare 4-5 days of Muskie fishing later this week. Just wondering how anyone has done on Webster recently? and/or any of the other lakes of there?

Thanks,

Josh

I was only out a couple of hours saturday and didn't have any luck, but the muskies have moved up to about 4-6' of water. There was one taken in the bay right off our pier at about that depth 6pm saturday. According to Ye Olde Tackle Box they have turned on with the colder weather.

I have been on all three lakes in the last week. There is a tournament on Tippy (sat and sun). Barbee is in Turnover your best bet would probally be Webster unless you want to get in the Tournament. if you go to webster I would highly recomend using suckers and Quick strike rigs I got 4 & lost 3 more last weekend.

Webster is turning on right now with plenty of bigger fish being seen and caught.
They are up on the flats and in any weeds that are left standing in shallow water.
Hot baits are Slammer drop belly gliders, Undertakers, DDD, and I have had luck right after dark slow rolling a Destroyer Magnum bucktail by Snowcrest lures just under the surface.
The sucker bite is going good at this time, make sure if you use suckers that you are using a QUICK STRIKE RIG, all the bait shops in the area sell them so there is no reason not to have one.
