Location: Chisholm, MN | Standards run more consistent and you can tune them the way you want. Pros can be inconsistent and don’t always run straight when pulled. When you get a good one, they are great. Standard is cheaper. I don’t think one has better fish catching ability than the other. I guess if there are two of the same color, I pick standard based on the price. |

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota | More of a fan of the standard. Pro seems to run a little deeper and more head down on the fall instead of gliding. Honestly I don’t notice a huge difference but I like the glide so I guess standard |

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | pro's for me only. i sold all my regular harness models. the hop of the pro dawgs is what i like. I have other baits that can be used like the std. dawgs. I have never had one swim sideways, but that could depend on how you store them. |
