Didn't make it to the swap but made it to the show on Saturday. Picked up 2 Weagles, one is the large at 10" in think and the other standard. Needed these in dark colors as I had only very bright colors.

A couple of Frenzies 8/9. Walleye. and a Chart & Black.
A hat for the kids.
LLungen spinner baits - Walleye & a Perch pattern
A Frankensuick - A toad in a Walleye pattern & a Lake X Topwater to round it off. Didn't take any pics.

Went to Alley 64 in St Charles for lunch, found an old record shop on the way and picked up a talking heads, Steppenwolf and Van Morrison albums. I still like playing my old albums and adding to that collection.

The burgers & steak fries at Alley 64 were great. Good assortment of craft beers as well.

Good time & got to see some friends.

Lax Reproductions hat and shirt. Ran the Frankensuick and 12" weighted Thriller in the pool. Impressed, will have a few of each.

I ate Mexican at my favorite place to eat it Los Burritos Mexicanos on the other side of Saint Charles. Not had better ground beef, pastor, horchatta or fruit shakes.

horchatta.... MMMMMMMMM!!!!

My wife and I were going to go as we had another engagement in Chicago Saturday night, but opted to stay home with the beautiful weather system that blew through Friday afternoon into Saturday along our travel route... Would have been cool to put some other names to faces...

So...I guess you could say I saved a bit of money...

Forgot to mention that the record shop we stumbled upon had a Laser disc player for sale that came with movies that included a Greatful dead video from 1982 live in Madison Square Garden. I have a slew of discs I purchased back in the 80's and 90's already, but no player. So that found it's way into the shopping cart. The dead video is great if you like the dead...

Roads were not so bad. Just went through a ton of wiper fluid.

Milwaukee next and will stop for lunch at Sobelmans Pub for sure.

2 shallow pounders in show colors. 2 Apache bucktails. 2 bags of replacement hooks. I kept it simple this year.
12 of us stopped at Schmidt’s Tap in Elburn for lunch afterwards. Great food and even better service, which is hard to find anymore.
