| I caught a 46" muskie on 11-5-03 and was wondering what the approximate weight would be since I am somewhat new to the sport. It was a true fall muskie very, very thick. |

Location: Musky Tackle Online, MN | Just curious...what time did you catch it? I had a little flurry of activity yesterday afternoon. I lost one near the boat that was about 42" at 3:45. Then I boated a very thick 47" fish with a 22" girth at 4:05. It was a very girthy fish. Depending on which formula you use, that would put it in the 28 to 30 pound range, to give you an idea of what yours might have been if it had a similar build. Keep in mind that the one I caught was one of the fattest muskies that I've caught, so not typical, even for fall.
Congrats on the nice fish!

| I caught him using about a 14" inch sucker on a quick strike rig while casting a suick. He hit in about 12 ft of water and I was about half way down. |
