Location: SE Wisconsin | Caught this fish a couple seasons back, it had the most wicked yellow eye. Anyone ever seen anything like it?

Posts: 4269 Location: Ashland WI | That's pretty cool Sam. I haven't seen anything like that before. I've seen the "blind" eye look (foggy), but not that. BTW, the Ranger is still treating me well. I like it more than I thought I would.

| That is really different. Like ledo, I have seen several muskies with an eye that looks like a person with horrible cataracts, probably from earlier damage, but nothing like that. What is really striking is how even from a distance in the lower photo, the eye is noticeable. (When I first read your topic line, I thought it was a repeat of Aron Rodgers "Yellow Weasel!" audible last night which apparently means run, wide left) Edited by North of 8 1/13/2020 1:46 PM | |||

Posts: 2385 Location: Chisholm, MN | I had to look through a bunch of my old pics because I was sure I've seen yellow eyed fish. But nope, they all had normal black eyes. Must be unique or some mutation. Cool fish.

Posts: 343 | A friend in Kentucky caught a black muskie with bright yellow eyes like yours, it was thought the fish was blind but not too sure about that.

Posts: 59 Location: Madison, WI | I caught a Tiger last June that had the same yellow eyes. They were almost highlighter yellow like. This is cool to see that you got one too because I was trying to do some research after I caught mine and couldn't really find anything on it. So crazy but really cool. I wonder what causes it Attachments ---------------- GPTempDownload3.jpg (346KB - 512 downloads) GPTempDownload 4.jpg (185KB - 500 downloads) GPTempDownload 5.jpg (323KB - 499 downloads)
