| I also have the 9' XH. Have had it for a year now using as my primary rod for blades. Casts well, even with lighter baits, yet still not at all too soft in the tip, making it a pleasure to use boatside in the 8. Actually, I like it a lot. |

Location: S.W. WI | I have the 9ft. also, A full year on it dedicated for big blades. Like it a bunch. Skinny handle may not suit all, but I like. I wrap my cork handles anyway.
Great for the $125 I spent on it. |

| I have the 7'6" heavy action for lighter blades, topwater and small gliders, cranks. Awesome rod. I have the 8'6" xh and it is a great rod. I throw up to reg medussas and mag dogs with it. I don't like it for big blades as much as it has too much give in the figure 8 for my liking. All in all great rods. |

diference between LT heavy and fenwick XTRA Heavy ? same flex ? more flex ? tip ?
They feel about the same to me, the fenwick might not be quite as stiff but not by much. I use them for blades and there isn't a noticeable difference between either rod. The handle on the fenwick is a bit longer. That's my biggest complaint on the big nasty. For the life of me I can't understand why the handle is so short on the big nasty. |

Location: Romeo Michigan | I have the 8'6" for an out rod troller. The eyes are very cheap. Drop them or beat on them a bit during fish mayhem and the ceramic easily falls out and the metal folds. Happened on both rods. Love the action though.

| im the new owner of that rod .it's a lot lighter and thinner than a mojo,compre .and at less than 200 canadian dollars and lifetime warranty i think im gonna be really happy whit it. the action look really sweet. and i love that kind of synthetic cork. only cons is the kind of copper color but it's just personal taste. mine is rated for lures from 2 to 8 oz. rod is that thin that i think i'll be kind of nervous about trowing hvy lure like mag dawg ,but i guess i'll be fine no ? im kind of even more happy because for a rare time in my life i bought something just because it look really good, and it meet my taste.not because an angler somewhere is using it for free or because it's the mostly used brand for musky .it's purely because it was imo the best one in the stores. now i hope im not wrong. too many times we buy things just because of sponsoring,advertising etc etc it make us kind of lazy and we start to lost what we really like. and to be honest ive seen so many loser that gives their own name for trash that i prefer to be skeptical about many sponsored products.. |
