It looks like it would have been even longer if that tail wasn't so beat up!

That....THAT...is a QUALITY fish right there.

Wow. Just...wow.

What an outstanding fish!

One that we're all hunting after each time that we're out on the water this time of the year.

It took teamwork to land that fish and release that fish quickly and safely. But...I do kinda feel bad for the guy at the front of the boat that undoubtedly had that fish follow his bait in...then for it to turn off from his bait, to stage under the boat for a moment, to then key in on the guy's bait at the back of the boat and for that guy to capitalize on that fish. That's musky fishing!

Outstanding and a HUGE congrats to both anglers! What a way to cap off the end of the season!!!

Remarkable footage. Great fish and the video was better than a lot we see with a dedicated camera man.

Loved it! What a trophy fish. And as stated above handled exceptionally well. Definitely feel for the net man who brought the fish to the boat, but the guy who hooked up....right place, right time and perfect execution.

I've racked my brain over how improbable the timing really was. If that fish came in 5 seconds earlier, my bait would be heading at her. 5 seconds later, my bait would be at the end of a cast and she might just be an icon on the Lowrance. Considering that was about our 7th pass down that line, it's incredible how big of a factor luck and timing are.

Really great catch and video! Was it a blind figure eight? Did it follow your partner's bait in? When did you guys first see it?

I really can't recall why I asked my buddy "what happened," but he saw her raise up and when I looked over, he had just gone into the 8, but the fish didn't turn. My bait just happened to be right at the boat, so I swung it out in front of her.

Awesome that you got the entire thing on video. So cool to see that fish go completely unglued and berserk when it switches to the other bait and strikes.

Congratulations on an awesome catch!

The next person who asks me why we spend the time and money to chase a stupid green fish that we don't even eat is going to be referred to your video. And don't tell me musky fishing is not a team sport...

reminds me of the DVD with Hoppe where he has the 2 guys from Sweden or Finland on the boat and the one guy brings a fish in and it eats the other dudes bait... "you stole my fish" the guy says.. awesome fish, congrats!

LOL! I bet more than just him is ordering that color combo! Great fish and video. These things look like submarines.
