Location: Belgium | has anyone used this bait, I'm talking about the 6.5" model. I got one in a trade and I love it. I wonder what your experiences with this glide bait are. Thanks in advance!
BTW are they still being sold? I saw they were no longer included in the R&H catalog. |

Location: Hazard KY | They still make them at one time thats all I would use until I started useing widowmakers side winder. I have Dancing shads home phone number somewhere at home email me and I will get you Gary and Phillips home number. My favorite color they make is spawning redhorse or goldfish.

| My biggest KY fish last year was hooked on a dancin shad and I really liked it for a while but I am of the opinion that unless you have clear water and deeper fish that the gliders just don't get the fish that pull baits do. I am looking at a goldfish right now that is sitting in the loser pile. I may need to go back to gliders pretty soon, have about worn them out with my pull baits lately. Chris probably likes the goldfish for the near resemblance to the carp that meander up and down his lake! I see a few meandering along the shore where I fish but if I have anybody with me I always blurt out, "Oh, did you see the size of that big bass, and man, how much shallower can you get?!!".
I will say this, the Dancin Shad is the only bait that I have had catfish make repeated, and determined runs at, must be doing something right, never had a catfish go for any other bait in my box like that. Odd. |
