What is the best way to work these things. I have heard straight retrieve, work it like a Suick(?), let it sink to the bottom and pull it up and let it sink repeat etc.

How are you guys working these things?

Dave,

I think there are a number of ways to work them. Just get confidence in a system and go to it. I know guys that pump them in, jerk them in, and just straight retrieve them. The way I usually do it is just reel once or twice and let it sink. Some of the dawgs will roll when you do this, some just come through the water with a swimming motion.
good lungen,
Joel

Just like any lure, work them the way that you want to work them.
There is NO right or wrong way to work any lure.

Some people jerk it, some straight retreive it, some twitch it, some get crazy with it, some simply speed up and slow down the retreive speed, so jig it, etc....

Play with it and come up with the way you like to throw it.

Obviously there are times with certain persentations will work better than others. For example, I wouldn't burn it November, or I wouldn't use the rise and sink movement during March over 30 feet of water.

Play with it and you'll find they way that you like it to be used.
