Random quote: Muskies are nasty. They stink. They taste bad. They are hard to catch and will disappoint even the most devoted angler. The lures required cost more than some women's jewelry. The rods and reels require a remortgage of the house. The boat is always worth more than the tow vehicle. Sure beats the hell out of golf.

i have a couple of older baits with bad epoxy id like to redo, is there a decent solution from a regular hardware store?

Also have a few handmade blanks id like to seal up primarily just to keep the water out to test. Again, is there a decent solution from a regular hardware store?

never devcon..early 80,s baits were clear lacquer finish...lacquers are a brittle finish..,plus clear lacquers are not readily available as government restrictions.

X 2 what woodie said. If you don't have a drying wheel, then I would use Devcon 2 ton epoxy. It says 30 minute working time but it's actually closer to 10 minutes if that.
