Posts: 636 Location: Bloomington, MN | Out in Utah for the MN Muskie opener, but up to the big pond the following weekend. Metro temps were still in the mid 50's, maybe it will be good timing to tag a big one before she hits the abyss!

Location: Athens, Ohio | I'll be in the Twin Cities June 9-12, looking for muskies. I'll be checking MuskieFirst for info on conditions and such. Will likely try Wayzata Bay that Monday, then Independence and Forest Lake or Bald Eagle. Any help to this blind squirrel would be awesome. thanks, m

New body of water for me but should be able to point you in the right direction after hitting it hard. I'll be in the cities that week if you want more info, I'm a fellow OH guy that was lucky enough to relocate up here. Shoot me a PM

Posts: 50 | "I don't want to sound "Anal",,but forget the AM,, water temps in the 50s looks like an afternoon bite." I thought the same thing last weekend for the WI opener with water temps at 53. Saturday morning put my boat in and casted one spot (really just to cast for the first time this year) and caught a 40". Sunday morning did the same thing and saw 6.

Location: Athens, Ohio | Cold water don't scare me. I got my second fish of the year this year at 45* and it wasn't even lunch time, yet. Don't let it scare you! 45" on Jan. 4th. My secret weapon (Muskie Treats) will get eat as long as it doesn't break ice. m Edited by mikie 5/30/2019 9:10 AM

Posts: 8 | 62° on the main lake on tonka. Unsure if my temp is off because I had 54° last Friday. Out bass fishing and saw quite a few, some paired up, some not. Maybe the wake restriction on tonka will create less boat traffic but probably not.

Managed an opening day 50.75" on a Top Raider in central MN. I saw pictures and heard reports of several BIG fish being caught in central MN. Attachments ---------------- ![]()
