| I experienced something new this weekend while fishing the PMTT on Cass.
Cady had raised a 50" a litte while earlier, so we went back and tried to get this fish to go.
I was fishing in the back of the boat and threw my Squiko out. (Cass was crystal clear and you could see the bait all the way from the cast landed.) The second my bait hit the water, I saw something out of the corner of my eye.
The 50" darted out from under the motor and shot straight at my bait. It swam all the way out to my bait, then quickly turned, and followed it all the way back in. I ran out of reeling room, so gave a quick twitch and it just sat there looking. So I went into a figure 8 and scared it off.
Question is: how many have you seen this? I braced myself when the fish darted out towards the bait because I thought he was going to hammer it head on.
I figure she was just curious since she followed back and didn't hit head on ???

stupid fish... I think you made the mistake of not jumping in a wrestling her Midge. When we went back for her AFTER fishing the damn tournament I realized we're nuts. Still didn't get her. |
