I keep hearing the phrase "The fisherman catches the fish, not the boat". Well, I beg to differ, at least in some cases. You have said, or heard said, something like "My old boat catches fish way better than my new one". I have spent most of my working life as a commercial fisherman. This included owning 3 salmon trollers on Canada's west coast. I can say with 100% confidence that if your boat was "wrong", you missed a lot of fish. Since retiring, I have developed a line of 'voltage tuned' fishing lures and on this journey, have listened to a lot of anglers who simply could not catch fish. I recently have developed an understanding of why, and how to fix it. I have cured a few and several more are in progress. If you think that fish can't feel the negative or positive effects radiating from a boat, pay attention. I still live on the west coast and I have known many boat owners who could not catch fish even when they fish down to depths beyond 200 ft. This effect is also evident in fresh water. As an example, one chap fishing on Lake Ontario could not catch fish unless he had 150 ft of line out behind his aluminum boat. His cure was one jumper wire creating electrical continuity from his outboard anodes to the bare aluminum hull. He is now catching fish under the boat. If you have a problem, get in touch with me. I help for free. (c:} [email protected]

That's a different animal. I prefer to tickle their tastebuds with a small amount of positive voltage, as opposed to stunning them.

Most boats are somewhat fishy right out of the gate when set up right, some are kinda neutral and some are an angler's nightmare. My first troller would not catch sockeye to save my life.
