Location: Eastern Ontario | So is it a Hosebait or a Parrywinkle. Hosebaits are made by Shawn Mahar and Parrywinkles are made by John Parry. They're worth whatever you're prepared to pay and worth more to some than others. I have sold some for the same as I paid, some I will never sell, and one going to the crematorium with me.

| It's a Hosebait. I just know the market has gone crazy these last few years with certain baits going off the charts. I know his baits work so it won't be hanging on the wall. |

Location: Eastern Ontario | I suspect the bait you are looking at is what I have always called a fat shad I sold a couple a few years back they can be scarce because of the amount of hand forming and he makes very few these days. Hoser and Jim Hutchings built their own because of how long he had waited for a Parrywinkle from John. Personally I think the flat shad and giant flat shad give better hookups. There are baitmakers that are having fat bodies cnc'd and may be more readily available. |

| I've got a bunch of his flats and giant flats. Proven producers for sure. My largest came on a giant Shad. |
