| If, indeed it does freeze, when is the last day you figure on being on soft water this Fall?
I have been out in December after walleyes on the area lakes, but usually we are iced up by Thanksgiving week. Darn stuff stays around until mid APRIL, for cripes sake![:((] |

| Down here in the flatland you normally can fish into january if you want. Last year however we were froze up in november.[:((] |

| We fish the rivers all winter, as long as the boat ramp is open. If not then get the ice auger out.

| Not until I find out what the prizes are!!!!! Sad but we have become spoiled on the board....seems the best responses are the ones w/ prizes GUARANTEED to follow! I suggest we begin a somewhat "spartan" existence + not rely on the hopes of something free in order to answer any + all questions....let it be known that I WILL NOT be the first to follow this advise[;)]......[:0] [:sun:] |

| When November deer hunting and muskie fishing closes here in Wisconsin, I plan on going south again, shelbyville or kinkead.
Its fun to fish in December in IL.

| Up here in the great white north, usually by the end of Nov. we call it quits, but who knows this year we have already received 6" of the white stuff. Then its time to wait out old man winter untill I can do it all over again.

| Fishing a river has it's advantages as it's the last place to freeze. Even if the launches freeze you can find one with a little bit of ice to brake to make it to open water. Man it's pretty cool to troll icelines. Opps thats my secret technique I guess the cats out of the bag.[:sun:] |
