Hi guys,

Since it's winter, the cabin fever has set in big time, and I'm thinking about watching some of my old musky videos. The trouble is, a lot of my good titles are from back in the day when they were still on VHS format (and I don't think I own a VHS VCR anymore).

I'm wondering if anybody here has taken their VHS tapes somewhere and gotten them converted to DVD.

If so, is this more cost effective than simply buying the same title again for a second time on a DVD format?

I have maybe 10 or 15 titles that I would like to convert to DVD format, and I'm wondering what the most cost effective option would be.

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

I had this place convert my Dad's old picture slides, and they did a nice job. There are a number of places like this

Tales of the Old musky hunters vol l and ll to DVD
One of the most enjoyable musky media items I've ever watched.

You can do it yourself. These go for about $50:

Have you searched youtube for the titles? I think most of BobM's titles are already available for free. A lot of the work may have already been done for you.

Converting to DVD you'll likely have the same problem in just a couple years, who owns a DVD player anymore?

I wouldn't bother putting them on DVDs, just convert them to mkv/mp4. You can then upload to youtube yourself (as private).

This website suggests "Musky Stories of the Old Masters" is available to purchase on DVD: http://www.vapfilms.com/Order-DVDs-by-Credit-Debit-Card.html
