Posts: 492 Location: Lindenhurst, Illinois | Not to me. The bowl sucked. Didn't see a fish in 5 hours of casting. We were shallow, we were deep, we were everywhere - nothin!

Posts: 291 Location: Mokena, IL | Dave, Your not the only one that got blanked Sunday. My brother and I fished till about 11:00 am and didn't see anything. We didn't leave Catherine/Channel and talked to several other boats that had simular results. Did not even see a fish. I think my temp guage is woring again, it read 62 degrees Sunday am, is that what your said? We were in the red Lowe with 115 Evinrude.

Posts: 492 Location: Lindenhurst, Illinois | I was reading between 61-63 degrees. As for Muskies not being stocked in the chain, I don't think that will happen very soon. I believe that there will be a couple thousand leech lakers stocked in October.

My prediction is that as long as Lenny can raise big money at their fundraiser, the chain will continue to get $10k+ in fish every other year, in addition to the DNR stockings. Posts: 169 Location: Elgin ,IL | Dave, Got some photos from a buddy I fished with on the Chain last Monday night. We stuck 2 a 36'er and a 32'er on Top Raiders & Stopmers in 2-3 feet of water right after dark. He was out on Monday of this week and stuck 2 more. I was on Shab's on Sunday night and popped a 37"er on a Jackpot. Maybe we should be hitting the Chain around late afternoon and into the 1st hour of dark for the next few days? Maybe topwaters around dark might do the trick? Seems to be working for me? Let me know how you do if you get out.
