Keeping in mind the doom and gloom LOTW thread happening now, I am going to Sab bay here in the next week. Are the fish on their typical patterns? Main lake rock structure right now? Any info or reports anyone has for the area would be appreciated.

We're not finding any fish in weeds or on sand. All rocks for us.

Geez, fish two or three of each type of spots and you'll have an idea whats going on. Five, six hours of work. Things are always changing, sometimes daily.

So I shouldn’t ask to try to quicken the curve? Is that what you are saying?

Rock structure was better for us as well. Some wood made it even better.

If you look beyond the initial "geez", it's probably not bad advice.

Conditions (and as such fish location) can change daily.

It’s the “geez” that really made it hard to look past. I’m aware that conditions change and fish change spots. Was only looking for a general pattern. My apologies to that fella for crossing the line by asking for a simple report.

Thanks to those that actually helped!

I'd agree... The first remark is a bit harsh in the response. Remove that and it would be an alright response.

I'd say since much of the area throughout sabaskong has lost almost all of the weed cover that had been there, Rocks would be the key...
