| I'm going fishing at Cedar Lake, Ontario late this September. We will be primarily chasing crappies, however the boat owner I will be fishing with wants to chase some Muskies.
I have a new rod/reel that I've never used and have 0 lures.
Can someone suggest a handful of lures that would best bets for this limited trip?
Thanks

Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't | I've never fished there but I can assure you you can never go wrong with a black and nickel or black and gold dbl 8 or 10 cowgirl. Works everywhere and is a great start to your soon to be massive Muskie lure collection |

Location: Ames, Iowa | By the way Jared- Welcome to MuskieFIRST!!! You will find an extensive and willing community of muskie fanatics and experts here who will give you all of the help you could ever want, short of telling you exactly where to cast for a specific fish. I started here in 2001, and although I don't post as often as I used to, I still comb the forums for information that I can use to get better.
Please tell us a bit about yourself. Can I ask how old you are? Do you have a good job? I ask because the younger you start at this the more money you will have a chance to spend. It can get brutal, but it is a fun addiction. Again, Welcome. We look forward to hearing more from you. |
