| hot that's the report... Was out July 4th AM had 77 degree water AM ..79 by 2 PM.. stuck a 48".. haven't been out since. About time to get after it again though.

| Anyone have any recent info on the bite on the Cedar Rapids area lakes?
I've fished MacBride a few times (with no success) and am thinking about giving Pleasant Creek a go soon. I know they just 'renovated' PC and was able to pull up a satellite image when the lake was low to see all the new structure, but doesn't look like a ton of traditional musky structure to me - if anyone has any pointers on the lake, that'd be great. |

| I've had luck there in the fall with large suckers on quick strike rigs + casting and trolling. Trolling seems to work well, although I must admit, I'm no expert as mostly target muskies casting. Trolling fish I've caught were in the basin around schools of other fish. Most I have marked on the graph suspended, went over them and connected. Hope this helps. |
