Posts: 1769 Location: Algonquin, ILL | It seems that recently there have been a number of Big Girls caught so just out of curiousity how many here boated a big Girl(50+) on what,how deep, type of structure,time of day ? I got mine on a Chartruse/Black Voodoo Tail, less than 5ft. deep, Mix of sand-rocks-weeds, 5:35 PM | ||

Posts: 105 Location: Kawartha Lakes, Ontario | I haven't seen a 50 yet this year but fall is soon approaching. Last years biggest was 51" caught on a 10" Believer on shallow setting (6 feet deep) trolled over 18 feet of water on a rock shoal drop-off in November. Most of my big fish are caught in October and November in 14 to 25 feet of water with a shallow presentation (trolling shallow running cranks and jerks). | ||

Caught a 54" on a sugartale in Aug. 4-5 feet of water, sunny out with light southeast wind. Day before full moon. JS | |||
