Just wanted to know you main areas of focus. Are the fish still in the weeds in your area or are you after deeper fish following bait??

All of my lakes are weed related so I fish weed eges. I troll of the edges with my baits 4-10ft. down in 10-20ft. of water. Casting is basically the same depth but somtimes a bit shallower.

over here we still catch northerns at 1m to 1.5m deep and trolled quite fast. Last weekend there was a competition on a lake that I visit from time to time and they took 12 40"ers with 20 boats, three of which where over 48", one even 51"! All on dead baits fished underneath a float and rowtrolling

All of my fish....have been coming out of 15ft or less.....Mostly off of shallow rock, along shoreline breaks and points. [:)]

I went out yesterday and lost only one fish trolling a Jake. There was almost little to no wind. Will try again this weekend!!! I was fishing deeper structure with bait 30-25 feet, I tried the weed edge, breaks and rock points...

I plan on doing some deep trolling this fall, for some reason I have not done much sucker fishing this fall. I will be using my Cannon downriger with a 10" jake or slammer on it. Just to try something different. I hate doing normal things, finding new tactics is what make the game fun.

Was out yesterday in southern Wisconsin and worked it all the way down to 35' (lure on the bottom, trolling). but found all my fish in 18'-20'. Caught 4 muskies to 38" casting, also casting, 4 or 5 walleyes to 24". 2 muskies 36"& 35" and a couple of pike to 34" trolling. [;)]

First of all, this is a pretty personal question. All I have to say is, I never had any complaints. Ha!Ha!Ha!
