| It was mentioned on another site that for reasons I won't get into Cass has a smaller Pike population then I would have expected.
You guys that fish the lake is that your experience? I haven't fished there but have heard the weed growth and structure is excellent. That would have led me to believe there would be a healthy Pike population.
Now I'm confused. |

| I've fished Cass and Pike Bay a handful of times, and hooked into plenty of healthy pike. I wouldn't say the numbers are super low. Are they below average?.. I don't know. They're not rare. DNR surveys look okay. |

Location: Almond, WI | Cass and excellent weed growth do not belong together...there is more bald sand on that lake than any other lake I've ever seen.
Allen's bay has a lot, but in the main lake it is very scattered and isolated with few really large weedlines. But there are plenty of pike, especially in Allen's bay. |

Location: new richmond, wi. & isle, mn | Where there's cabbage there's pike. Main lake breaks you won't encounter as many pike, but when you do it's usually a good one. A buddy of mine has won the pike division twice at the Frank Schneider tourney with main lake pike. |
