Anyone have ideas of quality lakes/rivers where I could possibly go wading for some muskies?

Thanks,

I've had some success from the bank on parts of Leech. My ex-mother in-law has a house on the lake and we sometimes fished from the dock....

Thanks snowcrest, I really apreciate the response. Basically I'm looking anywheres in MN. I'm thinking that the smaller, electric only lakes (Nokomis, Calhoun, Harriet, etc) of the cities would be my best bet? What are the shorelines like?

Thanks,
MJB

To be honest, I've never fished the Metro lakes...yet! sorry.

However, I'll be up in Montgomery next week, and might take a rod with me. Unless someone else posts about the shorelines, I'll let you know when I get back.

My son Brian fishes the Metro area out of a canoe. He may be able to help. Call him at 651.486.9823.

MJB,
You might try the beach area and the boat launch on Lk.Waconia.I used
to wade the shore near the carp trap and the whistle stop area.

I am the master of shorefishing in the metro.....did it for years before I stepped up to a canoe and then a boat. Drop me a line and I can send you in the right direction.
