I plan on pounding my favorite lake. That being Pewaukee, its only four miles away so no real road trips for this guy.[:)]

It's supposed to be windy tomorrow so I will be at the fox chain trolling. If it was not windy I would hit silver. I hope to hit one of those "O"ther lakes by you before the season is out.

Had my kids last weekend and had 5" of rain sat. and sunday was family time so I never got out.

I'll be hitting my local lake, hopefully able to spend more time on the water than last weekend, almost lost the boat a couple of times with the wind last weekend.

I'm meeting a few of the guys from the board at Mille Lacs hoping to get a picture or 12 of a biggun!

Waterwolf, MuskyMidget, Captain(I think) and anyone else is welcome. We are meeting at Holiday station S of Mille at 6:30 ish and will probably launch at the Indian Point Launch.

I am going to get ready to show Purple Haze to a prospective buyer,do my laundry, and go to dinner and a movie with a friend.( life is not all it is cracked up to be for a single guy) That is Saturday...

Sunday, I will be in a tree from 1:30 to dark, trying to stick the big boy I saw last night. A Booner, and no problem with it, either. Monday, I will be on Pelican smacking around the fish alittle.[]

Jason,

Hey there how have you been? Things here are good. Last weekend I lost 3 big fish. 1 because of slipt ring failure, 1 because of rod holder failure and the last jumped off a jerkbait. Oh well thems the breaks eh! I will have to avenge those fish that I love so much.
Goo luck this weekend I will let you know how things fly up north

Just on my whey out the door for a couple of days of slapping baits on the water, hope that something with big teeth bites on it.The weather is cool and looking miserable just what the doctor ordered, good luck to those who venture out and will report if successful.

The winds have been near gale force off and on hear for the last week on the Niagara River and Lake Erie. The Lake and River are silty brown and the water tempratures have taken a dive of 10 degrees in the last week. Most all baitfish and fish have moved to deeper waters of Lake Erie that are 5 degrees warmer, the Harbor and River are a Dead Sea except for a small amount of Emerald Shiners in the Harbor.Today I will start by working Sonics and Tiger Tubes near bottom on 30 foot structure ,while rocking and rolling in 4 footers in Lake Erie. When the heavy rains show I will result to trolling large Legend "Plows" at 3.0 mph near bottom structure of 25 to 30 feet, where warmer bottom waters of the Lake meet the cooler surface blown waters. Can be a tough day and the chances are I will not hear a rip,but under these conditions not many fish are caught, but when one is it usualy is a Big One!

I'm not quite sure exactly, but it looks like a cleaned up version of a narrative about a split shift postal worker
doing straight pay on weekends without time back! Am I correct Sponge?

This morning was the boy's last regular season football game. His team won, and he played really great! Then off to Smokeys for some new stuff. Jason, I saw your rig. How'd ya do? Then it was home to blow some leaves, and other frivolous work around the old abode.

Tomorrow, me and the boy will be out on Pewaukee in the morning. Probably throwing, and soaking some suckers. Then, home in time to watch the Pack.

Maybe I'll see you out there Jason. Good luck to all.

Tight Lines all,

Shep

Well my weekend plan didn't go exactly how I planned it.The winds were back up to 20 mph and had to stay with the deep trolling pattern.Managed 47 1/2",44",42" and 41" fish over the weekend.Today at 3:45 four lightening bolts cracking and hitting the water around us,with torential downpour, hail and 25 mph wind, put us on the 60 mph run to the dock.

LOL Dennis! Wish I could but I clam up in crowds....actually I just talk about stuff that happens to me every day; stuff that happens to all of us! Would like to get away from the post office especially now that we are on the "frontline" in this anthrax thing....think I'll wear a full wet suit + mask to work tomorrow. Glad that stuff is easily treatable.......Stever----I am a "postal GUMBY".....first thing out of the package the hands grab the ankles + they bend + twist us the rest of the day....one must be able to take a reaming + keep from screaming![:0] [:sun:]
