Location: Grand Rapids, MI | Thanks LR. We really need everyone on here to respond, it's not very often a survey of this type asks if you agree with spearing muskies.

Posts: 390 | Ive asked around, including on the darkhouse page, "what do you do with a speared musky?" I still have not received a single reply. I have even asked pike spearing fans in the midwest and even they think its disgusting to spear a giant musky. Its not like the mount would look good with giant holes in it. All I can think is once the ice melts you find a bunch of dead, undersized musky with holes in them. Side question, as it is very difficult to practice CIR with a spear, would that in turn lead to an always open musky season?

Posts: 431 | The "muskies ate all my walleyes" crowd is strong here. even now when the walleye and perch fishing is back to historic greatness and those guys are catching limits again they say "muskies broke my crawler harness". There are a lot of votes from those guys in this survey no doubt about it.
