Guess that little pep talk I gave you Saturday night worked! hehehe Or maybe it was the cocktails!? Sounded like you were havin a good time. Once you caught that first fish Saturday to put you at Cass, perhaps with the pressure off, you guys relaxed a little bit, and just went out and had fun. Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Cory, the first fish was caught on the East side of Monona with a Mepps Maraboo-white/nickel working the weeds edges. The next two I caught were on a Suick working the weed edges again but in Wabesa(?) A weighted Suick worked off the weeds across the scatterd deeper weeds. We moved 12 fish the first day and 28 fish the second day. Lost 2 fish at the boat while the net man was waiting and had two ther strikes that came off when the fish thrashed on top after the hookset.
What a day and a half of muskie fishing. Boy am I hurting today from last night. Thank you to everyone that posted. |
