I haven't seen a lot of feedback on this bait overall. It's inexpensive compared to other baits of this size profile and appears to be built to take a beating. I have a couple that have seen a few hours trolling time without any rips - not really enough time to get a good evaluation, but also no real sign muskies want to eat them. Now as the herd is getting culled in the offseason I'm wondering if they still have a place in the tackle box.

Has anyone caught a muskie on one?

Anyone prefer them over other large trolling baits?

Any hooking % issues with the two hook arrangement?

Yes, have caught muskies on the bait, no issues at all.

lil to no action at 3 mph,big deception because they look nice.only the shape can be compared to a rapala ssrap.i think the lack of action could be caused by the big ole in the lips near the eye screw

Lack of action? These are 11" and have more side-side action & wobble than a 9" Grandma... (*and I do like Grandma baits...)

Well here are some videos. Now these are not like my Grunts with the 32" wide wobble but there is a lot of action for a big bait here.

You can also try the Nokken lures too. They have a lot of action and are also on sale right now...

Anyone else use these?

That video shows the twitching version - I have the deeper diving version. It never struck me as having no action, but again, no bites.

supertrollr, do you remember what version you were using?

Nar, bought one at the show last winter. The big time sound coming from this lure was my attraction.

The bite was HOT this fall so I strapped one  on for a couple spots, But , zero action....NO hits.

So quickly took it off. SO! Can't say I gave it a fair shake.

IMO, I thought it pulled hard. Kind of dead action for the amount of drag it created. IT probably displaces some good water though
