| Anybody know what the results were for the Muskies Inc. tourney in Northern MN this past weekend?
I did not fish the tourney this year and instead opted to have a nice little muskie lake (which was not in the tournament) to myself all day Saturday. However to my surprise there were two jokers with their brand new white hats in a Warrior fishing this same lake (the hats appeared to be identical to those worn by others in the tournament). Hopefully these cheaters did not win anything, I did not get a chance to ask them if they were lost ....
If anyone knows what the results were I would love to hear them...
Thanks,

Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot | I can't remember the names of the gentlemen who won but a lot of fish were caught. It took a 2 fish min to break the top 10 with 4 fish winning the event. One boat had a total of 6 fish between the 2 guys. I believe the total number of legals (40" or better) was 119.
Happy Hooker and I had two sublegals (36 and 38) and many blow-ups. I was supriesed with the number of fish caught considering the weather was pretty clear with bright blue skys. |

| I heard a rumor that a 54" won big fish. |

Location: Walker, MN | Jeff Anderson of Bemidji won the tournament on Lake Bemidji, with 4 quality fish. His partner Troy Bertram took 3rd I think, Troy had a 54.5 and a 41 or 42". So this boat had 1st and third place not bad. In general Lake Bemidji dominated the tournament with something like 6 of the top ten places.

| WOW! There are always quite a few fish caught but I figured the blue skies and lack of wind would make it tough.
Would have been nice to fish it this year, but I really didn't want to deal with the crowds on the lakes. I managed to catch a nice 46 incher on the lake I fished Saturday night, which was not in the tourney...
I guess I should head to Lake Bemidji this weekend! |

Location: Orland Park | I read on another website that 2 tournament anglers were spotted on a lake that wasn't a tourney water. They both had their tourney hats on. I hope these guys didn't win any prizes, or catch fish for that matter. Any truth to this rumor? |
