I have small boat (12 ft) and I want my battery move to front because of weight in the back of boat. I like to add about 10 feet long from my electric motor to battery in front of my boat. Where can I get it? Thank you!

A length of 8 AWG would probably be fine unless you have a motor with more than 70-80 lbs. I don't know if the big box stores carry it. Find a electrical contractor in the area or possibly a boat salvage yard to get a piece. Cabelas & BPS carries it but a little more pricey.

The big box stores will have it. Try to get AWG 6 fine stranded is even better.

The longer the wires the bigger you need them. I would run 6 for that length but 6 will not fit into a plug. 8 will.

And you can always run a long length of 6 and splice in a smaller length of 8 to the plug. Remember to use some good butt splices and then shrink tube.

No need to guess about this: https://www.minnkotamotors.com/Support/Battery-Selection---Rigging/
Click on the "Conductor Gauge Chart". The chart shows that for 55# thrust motor and 10 feet of run use AWG 6.

genuinedealz.com has everything you need at very reasonable prices and free shipping. Marine wire by the foot, lugs, heat shrink, etc. Got mine in a couple days.
