Can anyone give me general pointers for fishing the ENE side of Mille Lacs? I'd be putting in at Malmo Memorial park landing. Any help is appreciated.

I think what he means is theres a sandbar and break line that runs from malmo west all the way over to wealthwood miles and miles,,the break line usually starts at 14 ft and there's a thin bed of cabbage, the sand bar was the famous "northend" aquarium of the mid 90s up till about 2009 where you could see 30 plus fish a day laying on the sand from the break to the shore . Not like that anymore but there are still fish that cruise it. This would definitely be a run and gun at the fastest speed you are comfortable with.

Make sure you stop in front of the yellow house. Especially nice weedbed there. At least there was in 2009 as many here could probably attest to:}
