Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Too many variables to answer this one too broadly; depends on water temps, weather, and what the forage is. On the lakes with Perch forage close to my house, with the water temps cooler than usual as they have been (it was in the 50's air temp last night again) it's pretty much a get out any time and as long as one can. |

Location: Tulsa, OK | In all my years going on Canadian fishing trips, all my big fish have come between 10-4pm. Conditions ranged from dead calm bluebird to monsoon thunderstorms. I have caught fish just before dark, but never real big fish. So I have more confidence during that timeframe. |
