Ok So I bought one of the baby beaver baits at the Musky expo this winter...havent thrown it much but looks like great bait...have seen few tanks taken on it already this year...anyone else using this bait? How are you working this bait and when are you using? Water temp and depths? time of day? around structure I would think be best...wanting any info you guys got on it...

I throw beavers a lot. There a ton of applications for it but I mostly throw them around structure when the fish aren't chasing fast baits like bucktails, but I also want to cover water. I pump it back to the boat pretty quick and add weight to keep it down. It's very common to throw them over open water when the fish are suspended as well. We've caught a few fish on them this year so far and my wife moved a beast on one last night! She's bummed! Haha!
