Leaving for Lake Vermillion tonight. Any last minute tips on what colors are producing well right now? I have never been there before.

Oh Travis, am I ever jealous....

We were there the last week in July so our experience won't help much. Just enjoy your trip and keep us posted on your results. Are you hiring a guide? I'd highly recommend Ace (Terry Sjoberg of "Ace Guide Service"). He really got us on fish and he knows the entire lake as well as anyone. He's just a great guy too. Tell him Steve Johnson sent you. He won't cut you a deal for it though. Actually, he may charge you more (heh heh!) Just kidding! We stay at Muskego Point and have for the last 5 years. Where are you going to stay? Best of luck!

We won't be hiring a guide. Just winging it! In fact we plan to just do one of the remote campsite deals on one of the islands. We are only there until Sunday.
