My HB shows a double return I'm in water under 14 or 15 feet. The digital reads at twice the actual dept any suggestions on how to correct?

Make sure you have the latest software update in your unit.

I have had this issue in the past in shallow, hard bottom areas. The signal is too strong and what you are actually reading is the signal bouncing off the bottom a second time and returning. If you adjust your sensitivity down significantly it will fix that.

Yes, sensitivity is to high for that bottom composition. Also with unit off you can unplug and replay the ducer wire, on my trolling motor us2 I did all three connections and the one inside the tm head was the culprit.

set your sensitivity at about 13 and manually change your bottom depth to something a little deeper than you are. take it off of "AUTO" bottom depth and that will solve your problem.
