Posts: 5874 | Just for you, Gregger! You can cross the border at Baudette, MN to Rainy River, ONT. Then continue east on Highway 11 for six miles to Sleeman and turn left on Hwy. 621. Go approximately thirty miles. There are phones available in Morson to contact us so we can pick you up for the short boat trip to our Lodge. Our pick-up dock at Morson is located at Hanson Bay, look for the Pier North sign. There is ample, safe parking available for your automobile at Pier North. Here is a link for a map. http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?size=big&mapdata=m3GC2El3JeXGA... Edited by Shep 8/13/2003 5:05 PM

Location: Athens, Ohio | After I singed off from the chat last night, I went to sleep with the feeling that I've been truly blessed. Last year I started scoping out a vacation week to LOTW, contacted a bunch of lodges in Canada and NW angle. All were quite more than I could afford, the family had little interest in accompanying me, then along came the opportunity from MF to spend a week at the lake! I really want to thank Jason for getting this outing started, Shep for doing all the last-minute arrangements, Mauser for coming with me on the drive, Cady and Koepp for taking us fishing along the way, and Greg, Shep, and Tom for offering us space in their boats. Special thanks to Sworral for linking us all together, you are the real thing. And, to everyone else going, you're making a dream come true for me. Now, let's get some freakin FISH in the boat! m

He shoots a radar gun from up there. We go to Duck Bay Lodge which docks out of Morson and he's been up there the last two times we've gone through. Pat

Posts: 5874 | Baudette is best. Take 53 almost all the way to Intl Falls. We cross to the west at Orr? I think, and cut off that hook around. I will post the directions when I find them again. Cuts about 20 minutes off the drive.
