Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't | It's time for me to get a real measuring tool. Which one do you guys like better? I'm leaning more towards the muskie bumper just because I like the way it looks. Other than that I don't really have a preference. I know the T's one folds back so I can see the first numbers but does the muskie bumper do that too? That's probably the biggest factor for me. I want the ability to be able to use it to measure small fish too without needing to open it all the way up. |

Location: NE Ohio | i prefer T'S. painted on numbers not a sticker. both are made out of the same material. i got the 10" width. its just personal preference. make sure you figure out if you want a right or left board before you order. |

Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't | Stupid question but if my left hand goes into the fishes gill then I want a lefty board right? And does anyone know if the muskie bumper will fold both ways so I can see the #1-30 while closed (for measuring small fish) |

Location: Marshfield,WI | Yes the Muskie Bumper board can be folded back such that you can use it as a shorter measuring board for fish up to 30 inches. I do this for big spring Green Bay walleyes and smallmouth bass and it works great.
I hold my muskies by the left gill plate and I use the wide board with the bumper on the left. I have been very happy with this product. |

| Go with the Musky Bumper. Jeremy builds a top notch bump board. I have beat the snot out of mine and it holds up great. I would highly recommend getting one.

| Howdy,
I was at the Ohio show this year and one of the two manufactures had a bump board that was more compact, not as wide, and more easily suited for storage when not in use. Anyone know which one that was?

Location: 31 | I've bumped fish with the open side of the board facing away from me for years, and have found no difference using it right or left handed. Actually the fish is kind of trapped between the wall of the bump board and gunnel with the open side facing away. |
