Help me make a decision!!!!! Planing trip for next year and can't make my mind up, I've been to Rowan, and wow what an amazing place but extremely difficult to get those big fish to go in the clear water. What's your thoughts? Have never fished LOTW

Never met someone that was disappointed in their decision to fish LOTW. Can't go wrong either was IMO. I am in the opposite situation of you. I have been to LOTW and am trying to put together a Rowan trip only because I have not been there.

Rowan is similar to Whitefish Bay on Lake of the Woods; huge fish but tough to catch unless you are Silvia Spitzer.

Rowan, is crazy with both numbers and Hugh fish. We on average seen 30 + fish a day with several fish over the 50" mark. Getting them to eat in that clear water was tough. We managed to put a few in the boat! Sylvia, did well when we were up ther but she was fishing at night. GOS didn't work and I wasn't brave enough to venture to far from camp in the dark.
