Location: Bloomington, MN | My Ulterra is from 2016. Are the new ones that much better in terms of "Anchor mode", and if so is there a possible upgrade? Last weekend Anchor mode almost knocked me out of the boat a few times. I must admit the winds were stiff and fluctuating, but I remained pretty much where I wanted to be. During the correction phase the motor actually spun around to wrap the cord around the head. When I saw that I stopped anchor lock and repositioned. |

Location: Hayward, WI | The new BT models use a heading sensor and the Spot Lock is much better as far as holding a spot tighter. They should unwrap themselves before the cord is damaged. You can not upgrade an older model. |
