Hi all
I am planning to fish Lake Vermilion and have never fished it. I was wondering if the fish are on on the rock reef/island structure this early in the season? I am very familiar with fishing on Leech lake and I know for the most part the main lake rock reef are void of fish till later in July. Is that the same for Vermilion? Thanks guys!

Last year in June it was still a trolling deal. Find bait fish and troll thru them or cast over them. That netted me a 50 last June 29th If you need a place to stay try Forest Lane Resort on the Tower side of the lake. It's and old school MN resort nice folks reasonable prices.
