I don't see this discussed very often.

I was wondering what your favorite hook is?

Model, size, shape... all-the-above.

Thanks for your time.

Good topic. I believe what I run are VMC O'Shaughnessy Treble 4X in varying sizes, 4/0-5/0 for glide baits. I replace baits that have the Mustad round bends on them. After switching, I noticed an increase in hook up percentage, especially on my glide baits

I don't give it much thought what ever is on the bait when I buy is what I go with.

Depends on the lure size and shape. These three cover almost all your needs. Eagle Claw 774, Mustad 3551, & Mustad 35656BR

5/0 and smaller Owner cutting point hooks, the sharpest hooks I've ever found.

I really like round bend black nickel style hooks. They hook up when the fish strikes. Super sharp.

When Zoneloc makes a treble I will change out every hook on every bait I own. Never have seen a hook hold fish on like that.

Hands down "Owner". They make extremely strong and sharp trebles (across the board) I've ever used. I also like Gamakatsu's larger Round bends. Wasted money on most of the rest.
